The trip to Kazakhistan and Kyrgyzstan was an incredible journey for the intrepid explorer. It’s the first time she’d been to such a faraway land. Everything was new and exciting. At the end of the journey, I told her to jot down her ‘first-time’ experiences before they faded away from memory! And here they are, copied exactly as she wrote them by hand in the dairy!

Things I did for the first time

1. Drank camel milk.

2. Went on an underground metro.

3. Touched snow.

4. Rode a horse.

5. Touched ice.

6. Ate fresh cherry.

7. Saw and touched a frozen waterfall.

8. Ate fresh apricot. 

9. Saw a scarf. 

10. Saw and ate round bread.

11. Stayed in a yurt.
