Bhimbetka rock shelters: A photo blog

I visited Bhimbetka rock shelters in Nov 2023. These rock shelters in Madhya Pradesh, India are famous for their well preserved rock painting from the Paleolithic and Mesolithic era. The oldest of these paintings have been dated to 10,000 BC.

This rock is unsurprisingly referred to as 'Turtle Rock'!

This cave is refereed to as the 'Auditorium cave.
